In Mykolaiv, three people were injured after a Shahed attack: a man is in serious condition

As a result of a Russian drone attack on Mykolaiv on July 2, 2026, three people were injured. One man is in a serious condition, and two women received medical assistance on site. This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim.

In total, five residential houses in the private sector were damaged. After the Russian drone hit, a fire broke out. According to the State Emergency Service (DSNS), rescuers extinguished the blaze in buildings over an area of 90 sq. m, and also put out dry grass fires. The injured man remains in the hospital in serious condition.

In addition, in the Kulbakyno district, the drone’s fall caused a large-scale fire of dry vegetation in an open area. Emergency services continue to operate at the sites of the enemy strikes.
