Hyundai crashed into a fence after colliding with a Ford in Mykolaiv: three injured

In Mykolaiv on the morning of June 24, a traffic accident occurred, as a result of which the driver and passenger of one of the cars were injured.

At about 10:50 on Bogoyavlensky Avenue near the intersection with Parkova Street, a Ford Focus driven by a 38-year-old woman and a Hyundai Elantra driven by a 47-year-old man collided.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the Hyundai and his 44-year-old passenger received injuries of varying severity. Both were taken to a medical facility for treatment.

The Ford driver refused hospitalization.

Currently, law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances and causes of the car accident. Investigators have preliminarily qualified the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of road traffic safety rules or transport operation by persons driving vehicles. The sanction of the article provides for up to three years of restriction of liberty.
