ChatGPT for pipes: employees of "Mykolaivvodokanal" were taught to work with artificial intelligence
The water is still not drinkable, but the prompts are almost correct: the water utility held an AI seminar
In Mykolaiv, a trial workshop on the practical use of artificial intelligence was held for employees of MKP “Mykolaivvodokanal”. The enterprise’s press service reported this on its official Facebook page on May 15, 2026.
The training for employees was conducted by the legal team of the company Arzinger. The seminar was initiated by a member of the Supervisory Board of MKP “Mykolaivvodokanal”, a partner at Arzinger, Serhii Shkliar.
During the session, employees were taught how to work with AI tools without magic, panic, or “make it pretty” style requests. In particular, they discussed how to correctly formulate tasks, write effective prompts, and use artificial intelligence in daily work. Representatives from the HR department, legal department, and security department participated in the seminar — the units where extra hours spent on paperwork, responses, documents, and inspections usually disappear faster than water during an emergency outage.
At “Mykolaivvodokanal”, they note that such training is part of a broader approach to strengthening the enterprise. It is not only about managerial changes or control, but also about staff development and providing employees with modern tools. The enterprise believes that practical training should help the team work faster and more efficiently. The Supervisory Board considers professional development of employees as one of the additional directions of its work.
MKP “Mykolaivvodokanal” thanked the Arzinger team and personally Serhii Shkliar for their contribution to building the enterprise’s capacity and supporting the team.
Let us hope that artificial intelligence will help not only with prompts, but also with answers to Mykolaiv’s “eternal” questions: when will there be water, why is it dug up again, and who this time is “approximately until 8:00 PM”.
