Lost in the city: elderly women in Mykolaiv couldn't remember the way home

In Mykolaiv, patrol officers helped return two women home after they became lost on the street and needed assistance.

The first incident occurred yesterday at about 8:00 on Ozerna Street. A concerned resident contacted the police after noticing an elderly woman at a public transport stop. The woman told the caller that she was lost and could not find her way home. Another call came in at about 12:00 from Vitaliy Bohonok Street. A man reported to the emergency number 102 that an elderly woman was near a shop. She was disoriented and did not remember where she lived. In both cases, patrol officers quickly established the women’s home addresses using available databases and took them home.

The police thanked the citizens who did not walk past people in need of help and reminded: if you see a lost person, you should immediately call 102 or 112.
