Control at zero? In the Korabelnyi District, a driver without a license is calmly driving around the city
No license, no fear: in Mykolaiv a driver got behind the wheel again and received a 40,800 UAH fine
The Korabelnyi District Court of the city of Mykolaiv considered case No. 488/5668/25 concerning Kostyantyn Serhiiovych Rudenko, who, despite a prior court decision, got behind the wheel again. As established, 13.12.2025 at 22:58 on Ternopilska Street, 3/1 in Mykolaiv he was driving a VAZ 2103 without the right to drive, since he had previously been deprived of it by the court.
The case materials state that this is not the first violation: the man had already been prosecuted under a similar article. Moreover, he never obtained a driver’s license. Kostyantyn Serhiiovych Rudenko did not appear in court, although he had been properly notified. Evidence included the police report, previous rulings and video from a patrol officer’s body camera.
Judge Holovina T.M. found him guilty under Part 5 of Article 126 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses and imposed a fine of 40,800 hryvnias. In addition, court fees of 665.60 UAH were recovered from him. The vehicle was not seized, and no additional deprivation of driving rights was applied — because he had none.
