The intersection in Mykolaiv was repaired ahead of a traffic pattern change on 6th Slobidska Street
New asphalt has been laid and the curbs have been replaced in the Central District
At the intersection of 1st Voyenna Street and Stoliarna Street in Mykolaiv, road repairs have been completed. The surface was renewed to prepare the intersection for increased traffic after two-way traffic is introduced on 6th Slobidska Street. The Mykolaiv City Council announced the completion of the work on November 4, 2026.
The intersection is located in the Central District and already sees heavy traffic. Drivers often brake and turn here, putting considerable strain on the road surface and causing it to wear out faster. Even more traffic is expected at the intersection after the traffic pattern changes on 6th Slobidska Street.
The work was carried out by crews from ELU Avtodorih Municipal Enterprise in two stages:
- First, large machinery milled the damaged sections of the road surface.
- The following day, a new layer of hot-mix asphalt was laid, and damaged curbstones along the road were replaced.
