Mykolaiv region without shelling over the past day; Kyiv faces emergency power outages
Overnight, Russians launched 433 attack drones at Ukraine
In the Mykolaiv region, no Russian attacks were recorded over the past day. This is according to information from the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration as of the morning of November 1, 2026. Meanwhile, emergency power cuts were introduced in Kyiv this morning due to ongoing Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.
The DTEK company reported the outages in the capital. Energy workers are restoring damaged equipment, but repairs can only be carried out when it is safe to do so. The company assured residents that it is making every effort to restore power to the capital as soon as possible.
The overnight attack also affected other regions of Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, during the night of November 1, Russian forces launched 433 attack drones from 6 directions. The aerial targets included:
- Shahed-type drones, including 64 jet-powered ones;
- Gerbera drones;
- Parody decoy drones.
A preliminary count as of 07:30 showed that Ukrainian air defenses had shot down or suppressed 371 enemy drones, including 47 jet-powered Shaheds.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the aerial attack weapons struck 16 locations. Drone debris and crashed drones were also recorded at 14 other locations.
The night passed peacefully in the Kherson urban territorial community: no reports of Russian strikes or drone attacks were received. No hits on civilian facilities or critical infrastructure were detected, and there were no reports of anyone killed or injured.
The monitoring Telegram channel “Radar Kherson” reported that no Russian drone activity over the community had been observed during the past day. The situation there was described as calm. The declared ceasefire was to remain in effect until 22:59 on November 1, 2026.
Despite this, the Kherson City Military Administration warned of possible provocations by Russian forces and urged residents to take extra safety precautions on November 1. The community’s statement also drew attention to provocative claims in hostile media. Residents were urged to remain alert, respond to air-raid alerts, and follow the recommendations of the military and rescue services.
