Neither Drive nor Walk: Residents of Korabelnyi District Ask for Road Repairs
Residents of Shyroka Balka complain about a section of Molodizhna Street
Residents of Shyroka Balka in Mykolaiv are asking the city authorities to address the road running alongside the garage cooperative on Molodizhna Street. They want the stretch repaired to ensure proper access for cars and pedestrians.
The complaint was posted on the Contact Center of the Mykolaiv City Council. The author, Halyna Vasylivna, recalled a pre-election meeting with residents: according to her, the mayor, Oleksandr Sienkevych, promised to personally oversee the street. However, the woman says, the road has not improved since then.
Local residents describe the stretch as virtually impassable after rain:
“After rainfall, it’s impossible not only to drive through here, but even to walk,” Halyna Vasylivna wrote in her complaint.
