New asphalt instead of potholes: a section of Central Avenue has been repaired in Mykolaiv

In Mykolaiv on Thursday, October 15, workers from ELU Avtodorih Municipal Enterprise restored the road surface on a stretch of Tsentralnyi Avenue between Sadova Street and the Arkasivske Circle. They repaired the roadway, which had been damaged by potholes and cracks. The enterprise reported that this stage of the work had been completed.

The even-numbered side of the avenue was repaired. First, road workers used a milling machine to remove the damaged asphalt layer and prepare the surface, then laid asphalt concrete. There were no lengthy breaks between these stages—the crews moved on from one to the next in sequence.

Work to restore the avenue is not yet complete. Today, October 16, specialists are working from the Arkasivske Circle toward General Oleksy Almazov Street.

Drivers are urged to pass through the work zone carefully and obey the temporary road signs.
