Housing repairs under the HOPE project: residents invited to consultations with designers
Residents of seven buildings in Mykolaiv are invited to take part in public consultations on the major repairs of homes damaged by Russian aggression. The meeting is being held as part of the HOPE project, “Housing Repair for the Restoration of People’s Rights and Opportunities.” This was announced by the Mykolaiv City Council on October 14, 2026.
The following buildings were selected to participate in the project:
- 2, 4, and 6 Dmytra Pietukhova Street;
- 57, 59, and 63 Raiduha Street;
- 61 Vokzalna Street.
The buildings have been grouped into clusters where major repair work is planned. Public consultations will take place on October 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at 20 Admiralska Street, in the shelter. Residents are asked to arrive early to register. They can also join the discussion remotely via Zoom: link to the online meeting.
Meeting ID: 818 0253 2465. Passcode: 244067.
The meeting will be attended by the designers and representatives of the project management team. During the consultations, the HOPE project will be presented and residents’ preferences for the planned major repairs will be collected.
This will give residents of the listed buildings an opportunity to learn about plans to restore their homes and share suggestions regarding the repair work.
