The acute respiratory viral infection season has begun: the epidemiological situation in Mykolaiv region is stable for now
Specialists monitor risks daily and analyze disease incidence weekly
In Mykolaiv Oblast, the start of the epidemic season is marked by a stable and controlled epidemiological situation. At the same time, a seasonal increase in acute respiratory viral infections — ARVI — is already being observed in Ukraine.
During the first week of the flu and other ARVI season, the nationwide incidence rate rose by 2.1% compared with the previous week.
In the region, specialists monitor illness rates and potential risks to the population every day. Weekly analyses cover the following diseases:
- flu;
- COVID-19;
- other acute respiratory viral infections.
In addition to current figures, specialists assess how the spread of these diseases is changing. If needed, they determine response measures.
