Scammers Pose as Tax Officials and Demand Money in Mykolaiv Region
Entrepreneurs are advised to report such calls to the police or the State Tax Service
In Mykolaiv Oblast, scammers are demanding money from business owners while posing as heads of state tax inspectorates. They may also try to provoke entrepreneurs into other illegal acts.
The Internal Security Department of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Mykolaiv Oblast urges business owners and entrepreneurs to stay alert and not fall for provocations by people claiming to be tax officials.
If you receive such calls, report them using the following numbers:
- 102 — police;
- (0512) 50-19-13 — Main Department of the State Tax Service in Mykolaiv Oblast.
