A European accident report after a minor road accident can now be filed in Diia
The service is available for two cars, provided they have insurance policies
After a minor road accident, drivers can now file a European Accident Statement in the Diia app. The entire process takes place on a smartphone, without paperwork or unnecessary waiting. According to Telegram @I_Vyhivskyi.
The service automatically verifies the information, and the completed document is immediately sent to the insurance companies.
Online filing is available only if all of the following conditions are met:
- Two cars are involved in the accident;
- no one has been killed or injured;
- both drivers have compulsory insurance policies.
This new feature is yet another result of efforts to digitize services. The process has been improved to make it as convenient as possible for drivers. The following agencies worked on it together:
- Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- Ministry of Digital Transformation;
- National Police;
- MTIBU.
“We continue working to make interacting with the state simple and straightforward,” @I_Vyhivskyi said in the post.
