Instead of the usual waiting — a concert: a military band performed at bus stops in Mykolaiv

Public transport stops in Mykolaiv became venues for performances by a military band on the Day of Ukraine’s Defenders (men and women). The musicians put on small open-air concerts for residents — in the middle of an ordinary workday.

As reported by KП “Mykolaivelectrotrans”, the performances were organized together with the military band of the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade named after General-Khorunzhy Oleksiy Almazov of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the music, the usual stops were transformed into concert stages.

According to the organizers, it was a thank-you to Ukraine’s defenders: thanks to them, peaceful life continues in the city, public transport operates and music is heard.

Residents who happened to be near the stops during the concerts lingered to listen to the band and showed their support for the musicians.
