Mykolaiv track and field athlete Yana Rudenko won gold with a personal best
In Ivano-Frankivsk, the female athlete also won silver in the discus throw

Mykolaiv track and field athlete Yana Rudenko won gold and silver medals at the team championship of Ukraine among physical culture and sports institutions. The competitions took place on September 26 and 27 in Ivano-Frankivsk.
Boys and girls born in 2011 and younger took part in the championship. A pupil of Mykolaiv Youth Sports School No. 5 stood on the podium in two events:
- Shot put (3 kg) — 1st place with a result of 13.55 m. Yana Rudenko improved her own record by almost 1 meter and became the champion of Ukraine.
- Discus throw — 2nd place with a result of 37.92 m.
The athlete from Mykolaiv is coached by Anatoliy Moroz.
