Oleksandr Zhadan, who devoted his life to the farmers of Mykolaiv Oblast, has died

Today, September 29, Oleksandr Hryhorovych Zhadan died at the age of 73. His relatives reported his death.

Oleksandr Zhadan worked for many years in the structures of district and regional administrations of Mykolaiv Oblast. For a long time he held the position of deputy head of the Zhovtneve District Military Administration.

Before retiring, the official headed the Agriculture Department of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration. He dedicated his professional activity to the development of the region’s agricultural sector and to supporting the people who work in the fields.

Fedir Levchenko, in a post on Facebook, recalled Oleksandr Zhadan‘s respect for rural workers:

“He greatly respected ordinary village people; for more than half the year he was already with people in some village in Mykolaiv Oblast at 5:00 a.m., talking, helping… Intelligent, hardworking, polite… A true leader!”
