Two cables were cut from a charging station in Mykolaiv — it's the second theft in a few days
This time the equipment was stolen at Kolodiazna Street, 3‑v
In Mykolaiv, unknown persons cut and removed two charging cables from an electric vehicle charging station belonging to OKP «Mykolaivoblteploenerho». The theft occurred at Kolodyazna Street, 3-v, the company reported.
This is already the second such incident in a few days. On September 23, two charging cables were stolen from another company station located at Kolodyazna Street, 10-v.
At «Mykolaivoblteploenerho» they emphasize that damage and thefts of property are not happening for the first time. Because of this the company sustains material losses, and restoring the equipment used by city residents requires additional expenses and time.
After the latest theft the company plans to contact law enforcement. Witnesses or people who noticed suspicious individuals are asked to call the police at 102. Damage to property can also be reported to the emergency dispatch service of «Mykolaivoblteploenerho» by phone at +380 67 821 85 89 and +380 95 822 11 66.
