Shelling left part of the Mykolaiv region without power, but no restrictions are expected
Restoration continues only where the security situation allows
As of Friday morning, September 25, some consumers in 6 regions of Ukraine remained without power due to hostilities and shelling of energy infrastructure. The situation was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
Power outages were recorded in the following regions:
- Dnipropetrovsk Oblast;
- Donetsk Oblast;
- Zaporizhzhia Oblast;
- Odesa Oblast;
- Mykolaiv Oblast;
- Kharkiv Oblast.
In areas where the security situation allows, energy workers continue to restore electricity supply.
About 150 settlements remain without power due to bad weather in Poltava and Sumy Oblasts.
There are no plans to restrict electricity consumption today. At the same time, the Ministry of Energy advises monitoring current updates on the official resources of distribution system operators.
To reduce the load on the energy system, Ukrainians were urged, if possible, to move active electricity consumption to the period from 11:00 to 15:00, and to limit the use of high-power electrical appliances from 16:00 to 22:00.
