For Mykolaiv‘s 237th birthday a concert-and-play program was held for the city’s young residents. The celebration was prepared by the pupils of the Children’s Palace.
Young guests enjoyed musical numbers, games and other entertainments. The children spent time together, watched performances by young artists and joined in the celebration of City Day.
The event was also attended by the mayor, Oleksandr Sienkevych. He congratulated the children on the city’s birthday and wished them good spirits, exciting discoveries, loyal friends and a peaceful future.
Oleksandr Sienkevych addressed the young Mykolaiv residents:
Dear children! Always listen to your parents, because they sincerely love you and do everything they can every day to make you happy. Cherish their care, support and love. And love our native city Mykolaiv in the same way — protect it and remember that it will be up to you to build its future!
