In Mykolaiv’s Sukhyi Fontan, a new 160-meter heating main is being laid to replace 700 meters of the old network

In the Sukhyi Fontan neighborhood in Mykolaiv, the municipal enterprise “Mykolaivoblteploenerho” is laying a new heating network. The work is part of a planned upgrade and optimization of the city’s heat supply system.

An old section of the network approximately 700 meters long had over time become inefficient due to operating costs. Fully replacing it would have required large-scale excavations and a lengthy restoration of the landscaping.

Instead, the company’s specialists chose a shorter route: the new network is being laid from modern pre-insulated pipes with a diameter of 108 mm. Its total length will be only 160 meters, and the old section will be sealed off.

This decision should reduce heat losses, cut network maintenance costs, and improve the efficiency of heat supply. At the same time, it will provide more reliable heat delivery to the residents of Mykolaiv.
