An illegal pavilion in the recreation area of Mykolaiv’s Korabelnyi District will be removed
In total, four structures will be dismantled in the city
The Executive Committee of the Mykolaiv City Council approved the dismantling of four temporary structures that were installed without permit documents. The decision was made at the meeting on 9 September.
The objects concern sites in different districts of Mykolaiv:
- pavilions in the recreation area “Mayak” on the territory of the tract “Zhovtneve” in the Korabelnyi District;
- retail kiosks on Zakhysnykiv Mykolaiv Street at the corner of Central Avenue
- on Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue, near building No. 325/1;
- a stop canopy and a dispatch point near building No. 16 on Lazurna Street in the Namiv area.
Dismantling must be completed by 31 March 2027. The director of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning must designate the contractor within three working days.
As explained by the director of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, chief architect of Mykolaiv Yevhen Polyakov, all of these structures lack the necessary documents.
“The grounds for preparing [the decision] were appeals to the government hotline, to the contact center, as well as an appeal from the city district prosecutor’s office of Mykolaiv. The structures do not have documents,” said Yevhen Polyakov.
