In Mykolaiv, a Mercedes and a Lifan were involved in a traffic accident in Mykolaiv Oblast: a motorcyclist is in hospital
A motorcyclist was taken to hospital from the scene of a traffic accident
September 9 at approximately 11:55 on Korabeliv Avenue near building No. 13, a road traffic accident occurred involving a Mercedes car and a Lifan 350 motorcycle.
The car was driven by a 50-year-old man, and the motorcycle by a 30-year-old rider. As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist sustained bodily injuries. Medical personnel hospitalized him from the scene; the victim is currently in the hospital.
Police are establishing all the circumstances of the accident. Investigators have preliminarily classified the incident under the elements of a criminal offense provided for in part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of traffic safety rules or the operation of vehicles by persons who drive vehicles.
The sanction of this article provides for punishment of up to three years of restriction of liberty.
