Mykolaiv welcomed the participants of the nationwide car rally Great Race Ukraine–Europa RUH 2026

Mykolaiv welcomed participants of the nationwide motorcade Great Race Ukraine–Europa RUH 2026. Mykolaiv became one of the stops of the large-scale nationwide motorcade Great Race Ukraine–Europa RUH 2026 — the Open Cup of the Public Organization “Society for Assistance to the Defense of Ukraine” and Cossack Glory.
The motorcade in Mykolaiv was received on behalf of the city community by the first deputy mayor Vitaliy Lukov. He greeted the participants and wished them a safe journey, memorable encounters and new victories.
This year’s route is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence and the 35th anniversary of the Society for Assistance to the Defense of Ukraine. It connects cities and regions of the country, combining motorsport, patriotic education, historical and educational work, and the promotion of Ukrainian Cossack traditions.
During the motorcade, participants complete sporting stages, visit historical and memorial sites, and meet with community representatives, youth and activists of the Society for Assistance to the Defense of Ukraine.
Following Ukrainian tradition, guests were greeted with a korovai. It was handed to the head of the motorcade as a symbol of hospitality, unity, a safe journey and a happy return home.
“Mykolaiv is always glad to welcome those who unite Ukraine. Today this route passes through our city — and this is yet another opportunity to show that Mykolaiv is holding on, living and remains an integral part of the great Ukrainian family. We wish the participants a safe journey and new meetings in the cities of our country,” — said Vitaliy Lukov.
In Mykolaiv they thanked the organizers and participants of Great Race Ukraine–Europa RUH 2026 for a route that links Ukrainian cities, promotes our history and traditions, and reminds of the main thing — Ukraine is united, from east to west, from north to south.
