"Shahed" and "Banderol" struck Mykolaiv: the enemy attacked the port, the energy sector and a food enterprise

Russian forces during 29 August 2026 attacked Mykolaiv and the region with strike UAVs, FPV drones and cruise missiles. Energy, port and food infrastructure facilities came under attack. The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported the consequences of the attacks as of 07:00 30 August.

During the day the occupiers attacked the region with strike UAVs of the “Shahed” type. The target was an energy infrastructure facility.

As a result of the strike there were power supply problems in Mykolaiv, as well as in the communities of the Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts. Energy workers promptly carried out the necessary repairs and restored the power supply. No one was injured.

Mykolaiv also suffered a separate combined attack. Russian forces used “Shahed” strike drones and “Banderol” cruise missiles against the city. Port infrastructure was hit. According to the Regional Military Administration (OVA), there are no casualties.

In the Mykolaiv district a Russian “Shahed” attacked a food industry enterprise. The strike damaged a warehouse facility. There have been no reports of deaths or injuries.

Also during the day the enemy used FPV drones three times against the Ochakiv, Kutsurub and Halytsynivka communities.

In the village of Solonchaky an administrative building was damaged as a result of the attack. Preliminary data indicate that no one was injured.
