Budanov stated that it is currently impossible to end the war with Russia

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov said that at present ending the war against Russia is impossible. He said this on a telethon broadcast.

According to Budanov, hostilities will continue. He emphasized that the current inability to end the war is not due to Ukraine’s unwillingness.

“Not because we don’t want to, it’s just unrealistic right now.”

Budanov also noted that in the winter of 2026–2027 the war against Russia, unfortunately, will not end.

The statement came against the background of ongoing hostilities and discussions about prospects for conflict resolution.

Recall, the Office of the President said that the situation with the so-called «busification» “will not change much”.
