In Mykolaiv, city networks are being restored: the collector was 90% clogged with silt
An open inspection chamber on Myru Avenue has been closed
In Mykolaiv, the municipal enterprise “ELU Avtodorih” continues to restore city infrastructure and respond to residents’ requests.
Specialists of the enterprise are cleaning collector No. 13, which runs along Industrial Street. The total length of the network exceeds 2.5 km, and it was built about 40 years ago. Before the work began, the interior of the collector was approximately 90% filled with accumulated deposits, which significantly reduced its capacity.
Workers are removing the cover slabs and clearing deposits from the collector. As work progresses, the network’s capacity is gradually being restored.
Separately, the enterprise carried out works after residents reported a section on Myr Avenue. There, an inspection manhole remained open and trash had accumulated inside.
Specialists installed a new slab with a hatch, fully closing the manhole and restoring its functionality.
At “ELU Avtodorih” they note that such works are part of the daily maintenance of the city’s infrastructure and are intended to ensure the operability of city networks and the timely addressing of problematic sections.
