Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive: 745 km² and 26 settlements liberated, Russia lost 9,500 killed
The operation lasted from January until August in the Oleksandrivka direction
12 August President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that in January–August 2026 the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted an offensive operation on the Oleksandrivskyi direction.
According to data on enemy losses, during this operation the Russian army suffered at least 9,550 killed and more than 6,600 wounded.
Ukrainian units brought under control 745 square kilometers of territory and liberated 26 settlements in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
