Mykolaiv rower Oleksandr Hartsev won four medals at the Ukrainian Championships
The athlete won a gold, two silvers, and a bronze

August 2 in Uman the individual Ukrainian championship in kayaking and canoeing concluded. A pupil of the Specialized Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve for rowing sports from Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Hartsev, performed successfully at the national competition and won four awards.
The Mykolaiv athlete took the following places in four disciplines:
- 1st place — К-2 over a distance of 200 meters;
- 2nd place — К-1 over a distance of 200 meters;
- 2nd place — К-4 over a distance of 500 meters;
- 3rd place — ХК-2 over a distance of 200 meters.
The Mykolaiv City Council congratulated Oleksandr Hartsev and his coach Halyna Zatulivyter on the excellent result. The athlete and the coach were wished new victories, high achievements and the conquering of the highest sporting heights.
