Six people hospitalized, garages and a workshop damaged: Russians attacked Mykolaiv region with drones

During August 5 and in the night toward August 6, 2026, Russian forces attacked the Mykolaiv region with strike drones. In the Voznesensk community 6 people were injured, and in Mykolaiv garages and a production workshop were damaged. The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported on the consequences of the enemy attacks as of 07:00 on August 6.

During August 5 the enemy attacked the region with strike UAVs of the “Shahed” type. As a result of the strike on the Voznesensk community, a 39-year-old woman and 5 men aged 31, 50, 64, 66 and 69 were injured. All 6 injured were hospitalized. As of the morning, their condition was assessed as stable, of moderate severity. Medics continue to provide people with necessary assistance.

As a result of the attack in the Voznesensk community, a building and special equipment of a transport infrastructure facility were also damaged. The official report did not provide information on the scale of the destruction. At night, Russian forces attacked Mykolaiv with a UAV of the “Geran” type. In the city 5 garages, a fence and the workshop of one enterprise were damaged. According to preliminary information, no people were injured.

The Halytsynivka community of Mykolaiv district also came under enemy strike. The Russians used a UAV “Klyn”. As a result of this attack there were no casualties. Possible damages were not reported in the morning summary.
