On the night of August 5, 2026, Russian forces destroyed Rozetka’s largest distribution warehouse complex in Brovary, Kyiv region. The civilian facility was struck by three ballistic missiles. Employees were not injured, but the complex is beyond repair.

Co-founder and co-owner of the company Irina Chechotkina reported on the consequences of the attack.

The distribution center opened in early 2017. It was Rozetka’s largest and most automated logistics facility, where more than 100 thousand orders were processed daily. It was from here that goods were distributed for further delivery to customers in different regions of Ukraine.

The Russian strike fell on the day of Rozetka’s 21st anniversary. Instead of a celebratory post and thanks to customers, partners and employees, Irina Chechotkina had to announce the complete destruction of one of the company’s key facilities.

Describing the moment of the destruction of the company’s largest logistics complex, Rozetka’s co-owner Irina Chechotkina spoke about her feelings during the night attack.

“Instead, at night I watched how, after the strike of three ballistic missiles, the work of my whole life was burning.”

According to Irina Chechotkina, after the strike she felt emptiness and pain. At the same time, the greatest relief was that this time there were no dead or wounded among the people.

Despite the loss of the largest and most modern distribution center, Rozetka has not ceased operations. The co-owner emphasized that the business continues to fulfill orders and serve customers. At the same time, the destruction of the complex that processed more than 100 thousand orders per day may place additional strain on other warehouses and the company’s logistics chains. The latter is a logical consequence of losing such capacity, although Rozetka has not announced any suspension of deliveries so far.

On the night of August 5, 2026, Russia carried out a massive combined strike on Kyiv and the Kyiv region, using 24 ballistic missiles, 4 “Zircon”/”Onyx” missiles and 115 drones. The main targets were civilian warehouse premises, logistics centers, enterprises and railway infrastructure. As a result of the attack, 17 people were killed and 44 were injured.
