Two women wounded, a bank and a substation damaged: Russians attacked Mykolaiv region with "Shaheds"

Russian occupiers over the past day attacked Mykolaiv Oblast with strike drones of the “Shahed” type and FPV drones. As a result of the enemy strike on Ochakiv, two women were injured; civilian buildings, a retail establishment and energy infrastructure were also damaged.

This, as of the morning 21 July 2026, was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

During the “Shahed” attack on Ochakiv, women aged 48 and 55 years were injured. One of them was hospitalized. Medical staff assess her condition as moderate and stable. The second victim is receiving outpatient treatment.

As a result of the strike, two administrative buildings, one office building, a bank branch, a retail establishment and a vehicle were damaged. Damage to a transformer substation and a power transmission line was also recorded in the town.

In addition, during 20 July and in the morning of 21 July 2026 Russian troops attacked the Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities of Mykolaiv Raion with two FPV drones.

As a result of one of the strikes, a private residential house was damaged in the village of Dniprovske. According to the regional military administration (OVA), no people were injured during this attack.
