Mykolaiv Oblast received UAH 187.5 million for free meals for students
The funding was received as a state subsidy for hot meals in the region’s municipal schools
Mykolaiv Oblast received a state subsidy in the amount of 187.5 million UAH, and from 1 September pupils in 1–11 grades of municipal schools who attend in person will be provided with free hot meals, said Acting Head of the Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration Heorhiy Reshetylov.
According to the head of the oblast military administration, the funds are directed to organizing free hot meals for students of general secondary education institutions, which he reported on Telegram.
The subsidy will cover the needs of the oblast’s municipal schools, and the right to free meals will be granted to those students who attend classes in person.
The official thanked the Government of Ukraine for supporting the region and for the decision that ensures the launch of this program.
