Mykolaiv residents' debt for heating exceeded UAH 275 million: over six months courts issued 903 decisions
The enforcement service forcibly seized almost 3 million hryvnias
As of 15 July 2026 consumers’ debt to OKP “Mykolaivoblteploenergo” for services provided amounted to 275.5 million hryvnias. Of that amount, 28.9 million hryvnias relates to charges for June.
This is reported by the Mykolaiv City Council.
The company reminded that payment for June services must be made by the end of July 2026.
To collect debts, “Mykolaivoblteploenergo” notifies consumers about unpaid bills, offers to sign restructuring agreements, goes to courts, and forwards judgments for enforcement to the State Enforcement Service.
In June 2026 courts issued 222 rulings to recover debts totaling more than 2.86 million hryvnias. Since the beginning of the year the company has already received 903 court rulings totaling more than 13.45 million hryvnias.
Through the State Enforcement Service in June nearly 2.99 million hryvnias were forcibly collected from debtors, and since the beginning of 2026 – over 13.23 million hryvnias.
Debtors are urged not to wait for court proceedings but to voluntarily repay the debt or contact the company to restructure it.
Payments can be made via the official website and the personal account of OKP “Mykolaivoblteploenergo”, banking apps, payment terminals, or bank branches.
For comparison, as of 15 June 2026 consumers’ debt was almost 277 million hryvnias. At that time courts had issued 681 rulings since the beginning of the year totaling more than 10.58 million hryvnias. At the same time, debts remain significantly lower than in winter: on 1 February 2026 the company reported debt of 374.6 million hryvnias.
