Two rockets struck near a hospital: in Ochakiv 8 people were injured, 28 civilian facilities were damaged
Five people were hospitalized; three others received assistance at the scene
Russian occupying forces on the day of 14 July 2026 carried out a missile strike on Ochakiv, Mykolaiv Oblast. As a result of the attack, 8 civilians were injured; a hospital, an apartment building, private houses and vehicles were damaged.
The Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported on the consequences of the enemy strike.
According to the investigation, Russian forces attacked Ochakiv at around 11:30. The enemy fired at the city with two rockets from a Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system.
The strikes landed near a hospital.
As a result of the Russian attack, 8 civilians were injured. Five of the wounded were hospitalized. Medical assistance was provided to three other people at the scene.
A total of 28 civilian infrastructure facilities were also damaged.
Among the damaged facilities:
- hospital building;
- 1 apartment building;
- 19 private houses;
- 7 vehicles.
Under the procedural supervision of the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime provided for by Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Prosecutors, together with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the missile attack, inspecting the damaged civilian facilities and collecting evidence to identify persons involved in this latest Russian war crime.
