The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported a series of targeted strikes on military targets of the Russian occupying forces in temporarily occupied Crimea and warned that the peninsula has become increasingly dangerous for Russian military personnel and civilian vacationers in recent days.

The ministry informed about its actions and assessments via its official social media pages.

“We are closing the beach season in Crimea. The forecast for tourists is unfavorable,” the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said.

According to the ministry, Ukrainian units struck key elements of the Russian air defense system on the peninsula with precision strikes, including the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile-gun systems, surface-to-air missile systems S-400, as well as the Nebo-U and Kasta radar stations that were used to control the airspace.

Additionally, facilities supporting the enemy grouping were hit: large oil depots and gas compressor stations involved in the occupying forces’ infrastructure.
