The enemy struck Mykolaiv during the day: transport infrastructure under attack again
Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities
In Mykolaiv during the day on 11 June 2026 another drone attack occurred. The city’s transport infrastructure was once again struck by Russian forces.
This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service (DSNS) of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region.
According to emergency responders, the enemy attacked Mykolaiv with drones. As a result of a strike on a transport infrastructure facility, a fire broke out.
The fire was extinguished by DSNS firefighters. No information about casualties was reported.
On site were duty crews from the city’s DSNS units, as well as hazmat specialists and pyrotechnicians.
Mykolaiv City Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych commented on the daytime attack on the city and reported that there were no casualties or injuries.
“The enemy is attacking our city again during the day. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities.”
Russian forces have repeatedly attacked the transport infrastructure of Mykolaiv and the region with strike drones. Earlier similar strikes have already led to fires, damage to infrastructure facilities, and power outages.
