In Korabelnyi District, 98 children have already been granted the status of war victims

The Child Welfare Service of the Administration of the Korabelnyi District of Mykolaiv published updated data regarding the granting of the status of a child affected by hostilities and armed conflicts.
As of 5 June 2026, the service specialists have reviewed citizens’ applications for granting that status.
As a result of the review, the status of a child affected by hostilities and armed conflicts was granted to 98 individuals.
In 4 other cases applications were denied.
Also, 1 draft decision of the executive committee has been prepared. 3 cases remain pending.
This status is granted to children who have been affected by combat operations, armed aggression, shelling, forced displacement, or other consequences of war. For families, this can be an important step toward obtaining state-provided social guarantees and assistance.
