House caught fire in Balabanivka: Two 50 m² fires in Mykolaiv within a day
Since the beginning of the year, 805 fires have been recorded in the region, compared with 1,068 in the same period last year
Over the past 24 hours, 28 May, two fires were recorded in the Mykolaiv region, both occurred in Mykolaiv; in one case the fire threatened a residential house, but rescuers prevented it from igniting.
The incidents were reported in the daily summary by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in Mykolaiv region.
In one district of the city, a garage on private property caught fire, the burning area reached 50 square meters. Firefighters contained the blaze and prevented the flames from spreading to the residential house and outbuildings.
In another case, in the evening, trash and part of the roof covering of a currently unused building caught fire. The fire was extinguished over an area of about 50 square meters.
