Enemy attacks across the region over the past day, according to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration (OVA), as of the morning 12 May 2026. Overnight and in the morning combat operations continued in the Mykolaiv region. According to the administration, no damage or casualties were recorded.
However, in the morning Russian forces attacked the region with strike UAVs of the “Shahed” type. The energy infrastructure was hit. As a result of the attack there are power outages in settlements. More than 30,000 customers were left without electricity. According to the regional military administration, people were not harmed. Restoration work on power supply is already underway.
