They told Mykolaiv residents where to dispose of "large" waste, but forgot about Korabelnyi?!
Not into bins, but into bunkers: municipal enterprise "Mykolaivkomунtrans" has published addresses where to dispose of furniture, appliances, and construction waste
Municipal Enterprise “Mykolaivkomuntrans” April 16 2026 appealed to the residents of Mykolaiv asking to dispose of bulky and renovation waste only in special collection bunkers. The company explains: this is necessary to prevent illegal dumps and to maintain normal sanitary conditions in the city. This primarily concerns old furniture, household appliances and leftover building materials after repairs – all items that do not belong in ordinary containers near houses.
Bunkers have been installed in the Zavodskyi, Central and Inhulskyi districts. For some reason Municipal Enterprise “Mykolaivkomuntrans” decided that the Korabelnyi district does not need such bunkers. Some addresses coincide with the locations of containers for collecting bulky waste published on the company’s official website.

In fact, residents were once again reminded of a simple rule: an ordinary garbage bin – is not the place for old wardrobes, broken sinks or bags of construction debris. Otherwise yards and green areas very quickly turn into illegal dumps, which municipal workers and the residents themselves then struggle with for years. Against this background, the publication of an exact list of addresses looks like an attempt to at least partially put things in order where after every renovation a pile of garbage remains. The question remains open – to which district of Mykolaiv should residents of Korabelnyi bring bulky and renovation waste?
