After a morning attack by kamikaze drones, part of Mykolaiv and the city of Kherson were left without power: about 300,000 subscribers were without electricity for several hours, which was reported on the “United News” telethon by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim; electricity supply has now been restored.

According to the regional head, several launches of rocket “Shaheds” were recorded in the area. One of the drones struck a critical infrastructure facility in Mykolaiv or elsewhere in the region.

The strike caused a mass power outage — about 300,000 consumers were temporarily left without power, including part of Kherson. Energy crews carried out emergency restoration work, power has been restored, and the situation is stabilizing.

During the broadcast, Vitaliy Kim assured that the region’s power system is operating stably under specialists’ control.

So the situation is under control, everything is fine. Nothing seriously bad happened.

He also recalled the consequences of yesterday’s shelling: all the injured are in hospitals in stable condition, and no deterioration has been recorded. Reports indicate residential buildings were destroyed in the Pervomaiskyi district; the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities also came under fire.

Earlier it was reported that, due to an attack by “Shaheds,” the entire Mykolaiv and part of the region were temporarily left without power.

During the day in Mykolaiv, power supply began to be restored sequentially; after the outages, the city’s electric transport is returning to service.
