In Mykolaiv, an organized group of drug dealers who earned a million every month will stand trial
The police have gathered evidence against the suspects; the criminal case has been referred to court
In Mykolaiv, based on police materials, an organized group of drug dealers will be tried, the pre-trial investigation has been completed, the regional police reported; the participants face up to 12 years in prison.
According to the investigation, the distribution channel for the psychotropic substance PVP and packaged cannabis was set up by a 27-year-old local resident. To expand the “network” he involved two acquaintances aged 28 and 30.
The criminals purchased large batches of drugs in a neighboring region, transported them to Mykolaiv, where they repackaged them into small doses. To conceal them, the prepared packages were hidden in beverage bottles.
During the arrest, law enforcement seized about 2 kg of psychotropic substances and more than 370 packages of cannabis prepared for sale in the region.
After the pre-trial investigation is completed, the case will be sent to court. For the crimes charged, the defendants face punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 12 years.
