The 299th Air Brigade turns 50: servicemen presented with awards and gifts

Service members of the 299th Tactical Aviation Brigade named after Lieutenant General Vasyl Nikiforov were congratulated on its 50th anniversary. Each was thanked for their dedication to service and their fight for the independence of Ukraine.

“The brigade’s warriors carry out challenging combat missions every day and defend Ukraine. Their courage, professionalism, and strength of spirit command sincere respect,” reads a post published on November 4, 2026 by Telegram @mykolaiv_ova.

To mark the anniversary, service members:

• presented honorary awards;
• expressed their gratitude;
• handed over valuable gifts.

The defenders were wished good health, resilience, reliable comrades by their side, and Victory.
