More than 2,400 jobs are expected to be created by the “Mykolaiv” industrial park project, registered in the Mishkovo-Pohorilivka community in Mykolaiv Oblast. The Cabinet of Ministers approved its inclusion in the register on October 28, 2026.
The park was announced by the Ministry of Economy and Environment of Ukraine; the information was published on the government portal kmu.gov.ua. The industrial site covers 56 hectares, and the park is set to operate for 50 years.
More than 143 million hryvnias are expected to be invested in its development. Funding is to come from several sources:
- contributions from the company that initiated the park’s creation;
- funds from future investors;
- state support;
- other sources of funding.
The government explained that industrial parks can apply for up to 150 million hryvnias in state assistance to build the necessary infrastructure.
The following types of businesses are planned for the new park:
- machinery manufacturing;
- electrical equipment production;
- automotive parts manufacturing;
- metal products manufacturing;
- plastic products manufacturing;
- food production;
- alternative energy development.
The project was initiated by Industrial Park “Mykolaiv” LLC. According to public registries, the company was registered on November 26, 2024.
The company’s owners and director:
- Valentyn Chekmarov — owns 70% of the company;
- Rustamjan Sadridinov, a member of the Mykolaiv City Council, — owns a 30% stake;
- Oleksandr Protsiuk — director.
The company’s share capital is 4.9 million hryvnias. In its 2025 financial statements, the company reported no revenue, a loss of 286,700 hryvnias, and one employee.
The region has had mixed experience with industrial sites. In 2018, the industrial park “Enerhiya” was added to the state register: it covered 36 hectares in Mykolaiv’s Korabelnyi District. However, in March 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers removed it from the register because activity reports had not been submitted.
As of 2025, two other industrial parks were registered in the region, but neither was yet fully operational:
- “Techno Park Voznesensk” in the Voznesensk community was registered in 2024. Around 56 million hryvnias were planned for its 19-hectare site. Planned industries included machinery manufacturing, construction materials production, and other industrial activities;
- SUNART in the Kryve Ozero community was established on an area of 11 hectares. It was conceived as a site for processing agricultural products, including sunflower and soybeans.
