Starting October 14, Lifecell plan prices will change
Existing subscribers will keep their current terms, and a price freeze is in the works
Today, October 14, 2026, mobile operator Lifecell is raising the price of the “Maxi” plan for some new subscribers. The price increase is 100 hryvnias and depends on the terms of connection.
The changes were reported by the telecom community “MZU — Mobile Communications of Ukraine”. The new rates for four weeks of using the package are as follows:
- The standard price is increasing from 400 to 500 hryvnias.
- For subscribers who verify their number, the fee is rising from 350 to 450 hryvnias.
- Switching from another operator to Lifecell and keeping your number through the MNP procedure lets you use the plan at its previous price — 270 hryvnias.
The operator’s position on existing users was provided separately:
“Starting October 14, the price of the ‘Maxi’ plan is changing for new users. The service terms for subscribers who already use this plan will remain unchanged. In addition, we are preparing an option for existing subscribers to lock in the plan price for a certain period,” Lifecell said.
The exact period for which existing customers will be able to lock in the price, and how this option will work, have not yet been disclosed. Meanwhile, the “Mega” plan will no longer be available to new subscribers.
Lifecell is one of Ukraine’s three largest mobile operators. Since 2024, it has been owned by French investor Xavier Niel. Following the change in ownership, the telecommunications assets were consolidated into the DVL group.
In October 2024, the group secured $435 million in long-term financing from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The funding is intended to modernize telecommunications infrastructure.
