A schoolgirl stabbed three women near a school in Warsaw
One victim was hospitalized, and the attacker was detained by a university employee
A 21-year-old student at an adult education school in Warsaw attacked three women with a knife near the school today, October 10, 2026. The incident was reported by Polsatnews.
The attack took place at approximately 12:30 p.m. outside the office of an adult education school in a complex of educational institutions on Mińska Street, in Warsaw’s Praga district. One of the victims had come there to submit documents.
Two 17-year-old girls and a 24-year-old woman suffered knife wounds. One of the girls, who had cuts on her forearm, was taken to hospital. Jacek Wiśniewski, a spokesperson for the Warsaw Police Headquarters, said her life was not in danger. Medics treated the other victims at the scene, and they did not need to be hospitalized. Investigators are questioning them.
A university employee quickly detained the attacker and handed her over to law enforcement. Police arrived four minutes after the emergency services were called and seized the knife.
The motive for the attack has not yet been established. Law enforcement officials emphasize that the information available does not confirm that the people involved in the incident knew each other beforehand.
