A procurement has been announced for additional work under a revised design for the modular shelter at the “Zhuravlyk” kindergarten in the village of Mykolaivske, in the Shevchenkivska community of Mykolaiv Oblast. The expected cost is UAH 3,736,607, excluding VAT. Funding will come from the local budget.

The contracting authority for the new procurement in the Prozorro system is the Education, Youth and Sports Department of the Shevchenkivska Village Council. Bids are currently being accepted, and the auction and selection of the winning bidder are expected to take place after October 23. The work is to be completed by December 11, 2026, or by the time both parties have fulfilled their contractual obligations in full.

The Shevchenkivska Village Council planned construction of this shelter back in August 2025. At the time, the work was valued at UAH 5,969,000, and YUR PROEKT BUD LLC was selected as the contractor. According to completion certificates, the company has already been paid the full amount.

The original project covered the following work:

  • excavation and construction of a foundation with a concrete base and waterproofing;
  • installation of reinforced-concrete slabs and construction of monolithic walls and partitions;
  • installation of floor slabs and stairs;
  • insulation and waterproofing of structures.

After the contract with the contractor was signed, the project began to be revised. An addendum from April 2026 provided for changes to the allocation of funding between years:

  • UAH 4,179,000 for 2025;
  • UAH 1,789,000 for 2026.

The new procurement covers not only installation of the modular structure, but also its interior and exterior fit-out. Under the revised project, the contractor must:

  • install the modular structure;
  • finish the floor, plaster and paint walls and partitions;
  • install electrical wiring and lighting;
  • install water supply, sewerage and heating systems;
  • install ventilation and an alert system.

Separate requirements concern accessibility for people with disabilities and other people with limited mobility. These include:

  • 28 pictograms and signs with Braille lettering;
  • handrails, including near the bathrooms, and a call button;
  • tactile indicators and high-contrast markings on stairs and doors;
  • a door closer, dispensers, holders, shelves, mirrors and other necessary equipment.
