Four Special-Purpose Vehicles for Community Protection Delivered to Rescuers in Mykolaiv Region
Vehicles are equipped with drones, armor protection, and radiation detection equipment
Communities in Mykolaiv Oblast are strengthening civil protection: 4 specialized Renault Duster vehicles have been handed over for community rescue officers.
The purchase was funded from the regional budget with the support of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration. As Heorhii Reshetilov noted, the vehicles cost a total of UAH 4.8 million.
The vehicles were received by rescue officers working in the following communities:
- Konstantynivka;
- Sukhoielanets;
- Nova Odesa;
- Prybuzhzhia;
- Prybuzhany;
- Bashtanka.
The vehicles are equipped with equipment for protection, communications, reconnaissance, and medical assistance. Their equipment includes:
- body armor;
- drones;
- radio stations;
- radiological and chemical reconnaissance devices;
- medical kits.
The “Community Rescue Officer” project aims to strengthen civil protection, make emergency response more effective, and create a safe environment in communities.
Andrii Masharo, Head of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv Oblast, noted that the directorate has already received 6 specialized vehicles. The handover of another 5 is planned by the end of 2026.
