239 war-damaged homes have been fully restored in Mykolaiv
Condominiums with completed renovations received 521.1 million hryvnias
In Mykolaiv, 239 buildings damaged as a result of Russia’s military aggression have been fully restored under the VidnovyDim programme. According to the Mykolaiv City Council, this accounts for 82% of all applications. The City Council describes the pace of housing restoration as high.
In total, 290 applications worth around UAH 650 million have been submitted from the city to the Energy Efficiency Fund. Condominiums (OSBBs) where all repair work has been completed have received UAH 521.1 million. The remaining funds are allocated to buildings where construction work is at its final stage.
The VidnovyDim programme funds comprehensive restoration of shared property in OSBBs. It covers the following work:
- Repair and replacement of window units, stained-glass windows, and exterior and interior doors.
- Repair of damaged façades, roofs and roof structures.
- Restoration of the load-bearing capacity of walls and floor slabs, and installation of reinforcing belts.
- Repair of building entrances and interior finishes in common areas.
- Repair and restoration of heating, water supply, sewerage, gas supply and electricity networks, as well as rooftop boiler rooms.
- Installation of individual heating substations (IHSs).
- Installation of accessibility features for people with reduced mobility.
Mykolaiv is currently awaiting the resumption of applications to the VidnovyDim programme by the State Energy Efficiency Fund.
