11-year-old Dmytro Zahoruyka has been missing in the Mykolaiv region since yesterday

In the Voznesensk region, searches continue for the missing 11-year-old Dmytro Zahoruyko from the village of Tsvitkove of the Prybuzka community. The search operation began on the afternoon of 28 September and is still ongoing.

The boy is being sought by police officers, servicemen and local residents. An operational headquarters is working on site, and the search measures are being coordinated by law enforcement. The operation is under the control of the leadership of the regional police headquarters.

In the search were involved:

• personnel of the Criminal Investigation Department;
• staff of the Department of Preventive Activity of the Regional Police Headquarters;
• police officers of the Voznesensk District Police Department and nearby territorial units;
• operatives and juvenile prevention inspectors;
• canine handlers;
• military personnel;
• concerned local residents.

The operation participants have already searched the territory of Tsvitkove and its surroundings. They are checking roads, shelterbelts, fields, wastelands, abandoned buildings and bodies of water. Search efforts continue.
